Leith joined 1st Credit as Executive Chairman in November 2011 following a distinguished career at Royal Bank of Scotland where he held senior roles including Deputy Chief Executive of RBS Global Banking and Markets.
Prior to RBS he held a variety of positions at the Bank of Scotland culminating in Head of Structured Finance. Most recently Leith has held a number of non-executive positions including, Non-Executive Chairman at Giles Insurance and is a Senior Adviser to Jamieson Corporate Finance. Leith’s focus at 1st Credit is to help drive strategy and further enhance relationships with both debt funders and sellers.
Eddie joined 1st Credit in April 2009, from Dubai Financial Group – the diversified finance services company of Dubai Holding. He has spent over 25 years in key operating positions in lending institutions, including a 19 year spell with GE Capital Consumer Finance in Australia, the US and the UK, ending up as MD (UK & Ireland) for GE Mortgage Insurance.
Eddie moved to M & S Money as COO and was responsible for the launch of the credit card, which is now one of the top 10 in the country; M & S Money was bought by HSBC in 2004 and Eddie became Deputy CEO of the division before leaving to join Dubai Finance Group in 2007.
Bruce joined 1st Credit as Chief Investment Officer in August 2013 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in March 2016. Prior to this, Bruce spent 14 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland specialising in corporate lending and private equity investment before taking the role of Chief Investment Officer at Noble Fund Managers where he was responsible for all investment and lending activities.
Bruce qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in 1991. Bruce is a graduate of Cambridge University.
